We're very proud of the fact that our solar security light is shining bright at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.

The SunCast is the brightest solar motion light on the market, period.  How can a solar light be so bright?  It's got 80 LED's (light emitting diodes).  The fact that it's a motion activated light means it only stays lit for a minute at a time.  If it were to run continuously, the light would fully deplete the battery in about 2 hours.

Another benefit to the motion activation is that since it only lights up a handful of times each night, it takes a number of days to fully deplete the battery.  Therefore, if you've got a few days in a row of cloudy, rainy days...you've still got juice in your solar security light!
